Dr. Mohammad Reza Movahed received his MD from Medizinische Hochschule Hannover, Germany. He completed his medical residency at the University of Rochester, New York and his cardiology training at the University of South Caroline, Columbia. His final training in interventional cardiology was completed at Yale University Hospital, New Haven, Connecticut in 2000. After his training, he joined University of California Irvine as Assistant Clinical Professor and later joined University of Arizona College of Medicine in 2006 as Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Cardiology. In July 2010, Dr. Movahed was promoted to Professor of Medicine, Tenure at the University of Arizona College of Medicine due to his excellent clinical work, teaching, service and research with over 200 peer reviewed publications. He has been Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Nuclear Cardiology at the University of California, Irvine medical Center and Director of Coronary Care Unit and Medical Director of Cardiac Transplantation at the University of Arizona Medical Center. In 2007, he joined the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System for his clinical work and as the Medical Director of Heart Transplantation. In May 2012, he joined CareMore as The Regional Cardiology Director of CareMore in Arizona while keeping his teaching and research affiliation with the VA and the University of Arizona as Professor of Medicine, tenure.

His major area of research is related to coronary intervention, non-invasive cardiology and cardiovascular epidemiology. He is world-renowned for his coronary bifurcation classification known as “The Movahed Classification” He is also known for his discovery on the flattening of interventricular septum as a sign for right ventricular overload the so called “ Movahed’s sign” that can be seen during Gated SPECT studied and recently published reverse “Movahed Maneuver” that can be used for improvement of stent deliverability during difficult and tortuous vein graft interventions.

Dr. Mojtaba Mafi M.D., Medical Doctor/ Physician, graduated from Tehran university, School of Medicine with honor. I studied in neurosurgery ward and graduated with A score with thesis on Meningioma Brain Tumor during 6 years. With continuing my practice with special consideration on psychosomatic disorders, I completed many post graduate courses on health psychology, addiction medicine, sexual disorders therapy successfully. I passed many post graduate courses in Neuro, approved by Medical sciences university. As well, I have been passed post graduate courses on Nutrition, Gastroenterology and hepatology, Obesity treatment and diabetes approved by Tehran University of Medical sciences. I successfully passed more than 10 programs with certificates and membership in Iranian Association of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

I am director of fatty liver and related metabolic disorders study among Iranian families since 2015 and currently publishing the results of our study and research about fatty liver and hyperlipidemia, diabetes and nutrition as study director and clinician associate member of Iran Hepatitis Network. I am reviewer and associate editor of Hepatitis Monthly Journal and reviewer of journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology. I am editorial board member of International Journal of Psychology and Neurosciences. certified graduate, verified reviewer and certified mentor of Publons academy in the field of Clinical Medicine and Hepatology.

Arlindo Lemos Junior has been working in endovascular procedures since 1991, when he first participated in an iliac artery stent in Bellvitge Hospital, Barcelona - Spain. Since then he developed his expertise and passion in acquiring new techniques in the Field. He has been studying Congestion Pelvic Syndrome for more than 10 years, when he was introduced to Dr.J.Leal Monedero from Madrid - Spain. Since then, he become interested in learning the physiopathology, diagnosis and treatment of Compression Vein Syndromes, such as common iliac vein and left renal vein ones, better known as May-Thurner Syndrome and Nutcracker Syndrome. The association of Recurrent Varicocele and Renal Vein compression is described in several papers in the Literature, many urologists do not have comprehension about the hemodynamic aspects of vein flow and reflux.
